Get educated! You can’t protect children from what you don’t understand. Attend one of Safe Communities’ virtual workshops, or ask your school, church or organization to host one.
More than 20 workshops available for parents, teens, church and organizational leaders, and other professionals.
Get connected! Join a trauma-informed virtual group for survivors of sexual abuse, or attend one of our day long retreats.
Safe Communities’ groups and retreats connect you to a community of peers and allies dedicated to healing and building resilience.
Get a cultural change going! Don’t settle for a youth organization, church or program that is not proactive in preventing child sexual abuse.
Mandated reporting and background checks are not sufficient. Safe Communities’ cultural change programs include best practice policies, facility assessments, training and education.
Get engaged! Support Safe Communities’ work by making a donation to the organization; follow them on Facebook; become a volunteer. Donors are partners and allies in our work to create communities free of child sexual exploitation.
